    OPTION ORACLE did not take Implied Volatility value provided by NIFTY OPTION CHAIN and calculated by itself as minor changes in IV value I have seen as I have not change config of Option oracle IV calculation method. Its' by default Option specific value that's second option.
    I want to know can we change it to Value provided by NSE option chain.

    1. Out of box is not available. It will require to be changed in source code. What you want to achieve by this?

  5. I am using options oracle 1.8.7. Nifty and BankNifty working but for most of the time equities is not working.
    When i tried to figure out the problem i found the link
    http://www.nseindia.com/live_market/dynaContent/live_watch/get_quote/ajaxGetQuoteJSON.jsp?symbol=RELIANCE&series=EQ

    is showing error Access denied in firefox and (HTTP405 method not allowed) in IE. It happens most of the time but few times it works properly.

    can i expect any help?

    I am using Oracle Option 1.6.1.1 release. Does it provide Historical annualized volatility also? So, that I can compare it with Option IV. Thanks.

    1. Yes it does provide. Click on Config -> Volatility & Maths -> [x] Download Historical Volatility.
